Busts and Animals Under Tree of Life

Description

This elegant symmetrical roundel, probably from a tunic, features a central tree of life with leaves enclosing the bust of a woman on each side. Animals above the bowl and birds toward the top flank the tree which is framed by a sinuous vine.
