The artist [1923-2013];[1] his estate; purchased April 2013 through (Gagosian Gallery, New York) by NGA.
[1] Conceived between 1963 and 1965, the sculpture was only fabricated in 2011, for a 2012 exhibition at the Rome branch of the Gagosian Gallery.
