Giovanni Girolamo Frezza (1659–1730) was an Italian engraver. He was born in Canemorto (Orvinio), near Tivoli, and died in Rome both places being in the Papal States. He was instructed in engraving in Rome by Arnold van Westerhout. His engravings include: Frescoes by Francesco Albani in the Verospi Palace. Seventeen plates depicting pictures in the church of Santa Maria in Montesanto at Rome by Niccolo Berrettoni. The Virgin suckling the Infant after Lodovico Carracci. Holy Family, Assumption of the Virgin, The Twelve Months, Judgment of Paris after Carlo Maratti. The Riposo in Egypt called the Zingarella; after Correggio. The Descent of the Holy Ghost after Reni. Polyphemus on rock, and Galatea and her Nymphs & Polyphemus hurling rock at Acis and Galatea after Sisto Badalocchio from Palazzo Farnese ceiling. " V.P. Johnny Friedlaender (26 December 1912 – 18 June 1992) was a leading German/French 20th-century artist, whose works have been exhibited in Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Japan and the United States. He has been influential upon other notable artists, who were students in his Paris gallery. Johnny painted using oils and watercolors but his preferred medium was aquatint etching which is a technically difficult artistic process, of which Friedlaender has been a pioneer.

Lee Friedlander (; born July 14, 1934) is an American photographer and artist. In the 1960s and 1970s, Friedlander evolved an influential and often imitated visual language of urban "social landscape," with many of his photographs including fragments of store-front reflections, structures framed by fences, posters and street signs. His work is characterized by its innovative use of framing and reflection, often using the natural environment or architectural elements to frame his subjects. Over the course of his career, Friedlander has been the recipient of numerous awards and his work has been exhibited in major museums and galleries worldwide (Museum of Modern Art, New York, Corcoran Gallery of Art, National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne).
